Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have "run out of things" to say about the Royal Family, a commentator claimed.

GB News presenter Andrew Pierce said with the Duchess of Sussex's latest business venture, they are looking for new "content" to monetise.

The couple stepped down as working royals in 2020. They have since been publicly critical life in the Royal Family, from an interview with Oprah Winfrey to Harry’s memoir, Spare.

Pierce said the brand gives the pair something to talk about to "make a buck".

Lord Kulveer Ranger said: "They’re really struggling to get the content. It’s all about content.

"If you want people listening to your podcast and the clicks, you’ve got to have something to say.

"Originally it was, they were royals and there was something going on, now it’s the jam.”

Pierce waded in to say: "Is the point here that unless they’re b**ching about the Royal Family, there’s no way they can monetise?"

He responded: "I think monetisation of the family only had so much room, they have to define themselves for the future. They’ve gone for a very crowded market."

Pierce claimed that with the current angle Meghan has taken, "nobody is going to tune into Netflix to see her making a pot of jam".

Carole Malone questioned why they have shifted from their approach to "save the world", adding: "The premise was, 'I’m going to end world poverty', they’re not doing that now.

"They have to make money now. You have to make a buck. This is how they are doing it, I think."

The Duchess of Sussex soft launched American Riviera Orchard and gifted influencers across the US her first product, a jam.

One of the people she gifted it to, was her Suits co-star Abigail Spencer who posted an image of the jar on her instagram.
