Jessica Alba celebrates 43rd birthday weekend with 'full moon ceremony'
Jessica Alba marked her 43rd birthday in a very unusual way, sharing the events of a "full moon ceremony" on Instagram.

Jessica Alba celebrated her birthday this week by hosting a “full moon ceremony”.
The Fantastic Four actress turned 43 on Sunday, April 28, and she couldn’t wait to share, with her 20 million followers, the unique way she spent the day.
She took to Instagram to post: “Full moon ceremony with my girls”, followed by a thank you to the few contributors who made it “so special”.
Elaborating on what happened, Alba said in a video: “Earlier this week during the full moon, I hosted a little ceremony.
“We did a sound bath and we had an amazing meal and then we did kind of a ritual or a ceremony of release.”

She continued: “So a bunch of my girlfriends came over, we started with a sound bath with Jasmine, it was very healing, relaxing.
“If you’ve never tried a sound bath, I highly recommend you find an amazing place to do it.
“Next, we had chef Sarah throw down yummy, healthy wholesome food.
“Gluten free, dairy free, all organic and Hayesie [Alba’s son Hayes] came to visit.
“Then we had the Spirit Daughter, AKA Jill. We did a ceremony of release, we meditated, we wrote down many things that we are here to release and really uncovered all of our shadow side. Hayes was very curious about what I was writing.”

It was then time for The Eye star and her guests to end the day by setting their “shadows” alight.
“And then we did a ceremony of release of the shadows that we are ready to release and we burnt them in the fire to really manifest that process”, she said.
“I hope you enjoyed watching. Maybe it got you inspired to host your own. Releasing, expanding, healing, all of these things are what we’re doing in this journey of life.
“Why not have fun doing it with people that you love.”

Alba hasn’t worked on a project for the big or small screen since 2020 but going by her IMDb profile, this is about to change.
She currently has two projects in the works, the first, which is in pre-production, is a drama entitled Flash Before The Bang, with Russell Harvard and Daniel Durant.
And the second in post-production is the thriller Trigger Warning.
Its synopsis reads: “A skilled Special Forces commando (Jessica Alba) takes ownership of her father's bar after he suddenly dies, and soon finds herself at odds with a violent gang running rampant in her hometown.”
