Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all look set to miss out on Sami Khedira.

The Real Madrid midfielder is set to leave the Bernabeu in the summer, and Schalke chairman Clemens Tonnies believes Khedira will return to the Bundesliga.

"It's my impression that Khedira wants to return to the Bundesliga," Tonnies told German paper Bild.

"I believe he does not doubt that for a second. I believe there aren't too many clubs in Germany coming into question."

Angel Di Maria wants to stay at Manchester United and live up to his £60million price tag.

The Argentine has been talked up with a move away from Old Trafford with Paris Saint-Germain admirers, but The Sun claim Di Maria wants to prove his worth.

A source close to Di Maria told The Sun: "Angel actually loves it in Manchester. He loves the club and is desperate to be a success.

"Things have not gone that well so far but he is convinced things will turn round."

Liverpool are monitoring Arsenal's Theo Walcott ahead of a shock summer move.

Express Sport reports Brendan Rodgers is keeping an eye on Walcott's negotiations with talks over a new deal for Raheem Sterling stalling.

Rodgers was thought to have been interested in signing Walcott before he put pen to paper on a new £100,000-a-week deal in January 2013.

Sterling has already turned down a new £90,000-a-week contract with talks shelved until the summer.
