Liverpool and QPR target Jermain Defoe trains with Spurs… as bets on Palace move suspend
TOTTENHAM have confirmed that Jermain Defoe will train at the club as he looks to return to the Premier League on loan.
Jermain Defoe is set to train at Spurs
Defoe left Spurs last January to move to MLS outfit Toronto, but has been linked with a comeback to English football.
Liverpool and QPR are tracking the 32-year-old, while Leicester are also interested.
However, leading bookmakers Ladbrokes have suspended betting on Defoe joining Crystal Palace.

In the meantime, Defoe will train with the club he became a fans' favourite at.
Spurs tweeted this morning: "We can confirm that @IAmJermainDefoe will train with our Development Squad for the next week to maintain fitness during MLS close season."
The former West Ham hitman enjoyed a blistering start to his career in the MLS, scoring 11 goals in his opening 16 league games for Toronto before his relationship with the club soured.
