Arsenal: Mikel Arteta reacts to 2-1 Brighton loss
Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno suffered what looked like a serious knee injury as he tried to keep the ball in his box at the Amex Stadium. The incident happened around ten minutes before half-time as the German jumped with Brighton striker Neal Maupay.
As Leno lept to catch the ball, he felt the pressure from the oncoming Maupay as the goalkeeper desperately tried to keep the ball in his box.
However, given the pressure of the challenge and Leno's momentum traveling through the air, he landed awkwardly and suffered what looks like suspected knee ligament damage.
BT Sport decided against showing replays of the incident which left Leno in visible distress.
But despite the pain, it did not stop Leno giving the striker a piece of his mind as he left the field on a stretcher.

At half-time pundit, Rio Ferdinand claimed Maupay was right to challenge for the ball and claimed he didn't intend to hurt Leno.
"You can't blame Maupay for that," Ferdinand told BT Sport.
"He would have felt worse in training, it's a contact sport.
"It's a foul, he's leaning into him but it's not malicious and it's not with excessive force."
