Emmerdale fans 'switch off' as they're left 'dizzy' by 'unwatchable' camera blunder
Emmerdale viewers were left feeling queasy on Tuesday night as they watched a dramatic showdown between Victoria Sugden and Leyla Harding in the village
Emmerdale fans were left disgruntled by a camera mishap during a heated scene between Victoria Sugden (played by Isabel Hodgins) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) on Tuesday (April 23). The pair found themselves in a street spat after Leyla overheard a tipsy Victoria chuckling.
"What's the joke?" Leyla queried, "I could do with a laugh. Is it to do with Jacob by any chance? " However, as the camera swung back to Victoria, the shot seemed unstable, juddering as she faced accusations from her irate adversary.
As the lens returned to Leyla, the camera continued its tremors, much to the annoyance of some viewers. "Why was the camera shaking throughout that entire scene?! #emmerdale," one fan questioned on X.
Another wrote: "Why is the camera so shaky?! It's giving me a headache."
A third quipped: "Time to fire the cameraman - the bloke's drunker than Victoria with these shots #emmerdale."
And a fourth queried: "What is it with the camera in this scene?"
Back in the soap, Leyla's tirade pushed Victoria to her limits, leading her to deliver a resounding slap to the drug user. This shifted the mood on X, with fans commending Victoria for giving Leyla "exactly what she deserved".
"Seeing Leyla finally getting the s*** slapped out of her was so satisfying!" One viewer commented. Another concurred: "Oh well done Victoria, think Leyla needed that smack."

The explosive episode saw Leyla promptly call the police, leading to PC Swirling arriving to apprehend Victoria for the assault.
Tensions had been brewing between the two due to Jacob's choice to reject a job in Berlin to stay in the village with Victoria.
Their romance sent shockwaves through the village last year when it was revealed they were an item.
Jacob's father David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) was particularly devastated, having harboured hopes of reuniting with Victoria himself.
After a period of secrecy, Jacob and Victoria's attempts to conceal their feelings crumbled when David caught them in a clandestine kiss. Witnessing their intimacy left David so heartbroken that he felt compelled to depart from the village indefinitely.
