The latest instalment of Loose Women took a saucy turn as the teleprompter presented the hosts with a double entendre.

Loose Women's Ruth Langsford collapsed in peals of laughter as the teleprompter for the ITV show threw up a double entendre in between topics. The ladies had been talking about the return of the bonkbuster when it came time for Ruth to change the subject.
"Let's talk about holidays," she offered up adding, "Nude holidays are on the ride..." She quickly realised what she had said and burst out laughing alongside the audience and the other panellists.
"Who writes this nonsense? On the increase...," she laughed, referencing the fact that she had read it off the teleprompter rather than saying it as an off-the-cuff remark. However, she quickly composed herself to continue with the topic telling viewers that alongside festivals and clothing-optional resorts, a nude cruise is also to set sail around the Caribbean next year.
This led to the revelation that her colleague Janet Street-Porter was given a nude cruise back in 2018. Enquiring if the flame-haired panellist had actually gone on the cruise, the answer was negative.
"The idea of taking her knickers off and going out in the English Channel, no matter what time of year, with a load of people I've never met before..." she said. However, even though Janet didn't want to partake she wasn't against the idea.
"I've only ever been on one cruise and that was a posh cruise around Scotland and we have to have so many changes of clothes.
"You needed clothes for breakfast, clothes for lunch, clothes for going on a little walk around an island, and clothes for cocktails."
"The idea of having a nude cruise is great in some ways because all you would pack would be a towel to sit on," she pondered.
Fellow panellist Brenda Edwards was amused by the etiquette listed for the cruise.

"I just love how it says it's got some rules and substantive etiquette for all passengers to conform to," she said.
"This means you should always sit on a towel or clothing item when bare-bottomed. Or you can sit in a thong or a G-string."
Looking bemused she added: "I'm sorry, I've seen thongs and G-strings and your botty cheeks are still out!"
Loose Women is on ITV weekdays at 12.20pm.
