Denise Welch hit back at trolls with laughter as she ferociously defended Meghan Markle.

The Loose Women star, 65, ripped into royal commentator and biographer, Angela Levin, as she reshared a video of her on X (formerly Twitter).

Angela appeared on Talk TV, where she was accused of 'having a vendetta' against the wife of Prince Harry.

In the heated clip, presenter JJ Anisiobi called out Angela as a 'troll' after she claimed that some of Meghan's pictures were 'set-up'.

They were both raising their voices, shouting over each other as the set descended into chaos. Eventually, Angela had enough and said: "You're here to fight me so why don't you say goodbye?" and waved at the camera.

JJ replied: "I'm not here to fight you, I'm just laying out the truth to you... You don't want to be challenged."

But that wasn't enough to stop Angela from saying a final goodbye and leaving the video link.

Denise shared the Talk TV host's sentiments as she added her own thoughts to her post. She wrote: "What an absolutely vile woman @angelalevin1 is.

"Why is she allowed to continually trash, insult and verbally abuse Meghan Markle in public forums???"

However she was flooded with comments in support of Angela and faced her own backlash instead.

One Twitter user said: "Why not, even if she was? Free speech. Not everyone has to like the harkles." Another added: "The same reason you’re allowed on TV…free speech" followed by a clown emoji.

A third user added: "We’re not keen on you either" to which Denise replied with a series of crying laughing emojis.
