Jeremy Clarkson taunts Lewis Hamilton as he flips Morris Minor on Top Gear
HE MIGHT be a professional racing car driver, but Lewis Hamilton couldn't keep his car the right way up in Barbados.
The 29-year-old Formula One driver was spotted with Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May on the tropical island for the Top Gear Festival, last week.
Although he's used to four wheels and a whole heap of horse power, Lewis seemed happy enough as he jumped behind the wheel of a Reliant Robin as part of Top Gear's latest challenge.
The racing car driver was pictured laughing as he sped around the track playing Car Football alongside the trio of male, middle-aged presenters.
But it wasn't long before the smile was wiped off his face as his three-wheeled vehicle took a turn for the worst and flipped onto his side.
Thankfully, Lewis was wearing proper protection and had a safety helmet on for the match.
A huge crowd of 10,000 fans gathered outfit the Bushy Park Circuit in Barbados when they heard of the motoring stars on the track that day.
One avid fan told The Sun: "When he rolled the crowd went mad. Lewis Hamilton, the man leading the F1 championship, was upside down in a Reliant Robin. How can he explain that in Monaco next weekend?"
Although Lewis was bowled head-over-heels, and not by his Pussycat Dolls star girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger this time, it didn't stop him winning the competition at large.
The speedy star's team won 4-2 over Jeremy Clarkson's team - who were reportedly 'representing' England.
Speaking of Lewis' beau Nicole, the pair rekindled their love at the end of last year and have been smitten ever since.
And with Lewis referring to the Hawaiian beauty as 'wifey' earlier this year, many fans are hoping for wedding bells later this year.
Top Gear star The Stig ditches his wheels for water as he enjoys a spot of snorkelling on a Caribbean trip.
The test driver enjoyed a dip in the sea while wearing his white safety suit and helmet with darkened visor and slipping on a mask and snorkel.
He was in Barbados after taking part in a two-day event for fans of the programme.
The famously-silent star joined presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond at the Top Gear Festival Barbados, which also featured guests such as Lewis Hamilton.
