Queen Elizabeth’s touching gesture to support Meghan Markle at difficult time revealed
During a "challenging time" in her personal life, Prince Harry shared a moment Queen Elizabeth II reached out to Meghan Markle with a kind gesture of support.
Prince Harry has described a touching moment his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, reached out to Meghan Markle during a difficult time in her life.
In his bombshell memoir, Spare, Prince Harry explained the moment his grandmother connected with Meghan while they were having tea with the then Prince Charles. He wrote: "We all looked stunned. Meg tentatively reached for the phone. It seemed Granny was calling to talk about Meg's father."
Meghan had written a letter to the Queen asking for advice about her father, Thomas Markle, and it is believed the Queen advised Meghan to reach out to him.
As reported in OK! Magazine, King Charles reportedly praised his mother's suggestion as a "splendid one".

Speaking out on her controversial Netflix series, 'Harry & Meghan', the Duchess explained father and daughter had a strong bond throughout her childhood.
The Duchess explained: "I mean, you know, family. So it's never easy, never perfect, but of course, I talked to my dad several times a week."
Meghan claims: "After the wedding, my dad started doing interviews, mostly saying things about me. It was incredibly painful."
Thomas Markle has previously thanked Charles for stepping in and walking the Duchess of Sussex down the aisle on her wedding day to Prince Harry after he was forced to pull out of the ceremony for both health reasons and an ill-fated deal with paparazzi.
He has also wished the King a speedy recovery just hours after Buckingham Palace announced his cancer diagnosis.

Relationship guru, Louella Alderson, told the Mirror the chances of Meghan repairing the relationship with her father are slim: "It's possible for relationships to mend and heal over time.
"But ultimately, it will depend on both parties being willing to put in effort and work towards reconciliation. It would take a lot of forgiveness and understanding from Meghan to repair her relationship with her father, and it's unclear if she is ready or willing to do so at this point."
Meghan Markle is now working on a solo Netflix venture following the previous release of three documentaries by the couple under their £80million deal.
Her series will explore "the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship", but viewers keen to get a look into Meghan's enviable homelife are going to be left unsatisfied as it will be filmed in a rented property.
