The Duke of Sussex sued Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) over a February 2022 Mail on Sunday article about his challenge against the Home Office, following a decision to change his publicly-funded security arrangements when visiting the UK.

Now GB News host Nana Akua said the Duke and "crumbling Montecito empire" took a huge hit after Harry's "wise" decision to withdraw the case and .

She said: "It's finally dawning on him that unnecessary legal battles over 'he said she said', which with not much to go on, cost money, and frankly, it's money he needs to keep hold of, judging by how well he and his missus are currently being received over in the States, in their crumbling Montecito empire."

The TV host added: "Whilst the Royal Family have been admirably getting on with their jobs, Prince Harry has taken the sensible decision to get out whilst he still can with a relatively low billing, compared to the millions it was likely to cost him, to take them to court."

Kate, the Princess of Wales is "doing well" after her abdominal surgery earlier this week and will continue her royal work from bed as she recovers at home, insiders have claimed.

King Charles is currently preparing to undergo surgery for an enlarged prostate. While Kate spent a fifth day in hospital after major abdominal surgery.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have now offered an olive branch to their fellow royals, reports The Mirror. It comes as the Sussexes continue to have an allegedly strained relationships with Harry's family.

A source told The Mirror: "The King and the Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan regarding their health. The Duke and Duchess contacted both parties in different ways to pass on their concern and best wishes."
