Cookies are delicious bakes to make, but they can take a while in the oven, so here's an easy four-ingredient recipe which can be baked in an air fryer.

They also use heat and air to cook food evenly, reducing the need for little to no oil to be used in the cooking process.

Whilst many people often use their air fryers to cook savoury foods, they are just as good for sweet recipes.

BBC recently shared a super delicious cookie which “couldn’t be easier to make”.

What’s more, followers of the recipe only need four ingredients, some of which you may already have.

Ingredients:

100g hazelnut chocolate spread

75g plain flour

Three tablespoons full-fat milk

40g chocolate, melted

Method:

Preheat the air fryer to 180C before placing the chocolate spread, flour and milk in a bowl.

Mix the ingredients well and then, using your hands, bring them together to make a firm dough.

Roll the mixture into six evenly sized balls before flattening them into cookies, making sure they are small enough to fit into your air fryer.

Lay a sheet of baking paper in the air fryer basket then place the cookies on top, leaving a little space between each one.

Air fry for eight to 10 minutes before carefully lifting them out and drizzling the melted chocolate over the cookies.

e to bake in an air fryer, and they take half the amount of time compared with an oven.

If you don’t have an air fryer, you can cook these in an oven preheated to 200C or 180C Fan for 12 to 14 minutes.

You may find the mixture easier to roll if you chill the hazelnut chocolate spread before using.

BBC Good Food also recommended chilling the dough in the fridge before baking, if you have time.

They also said each portion roughly costs around 52p, making them an affordable and quick snack.

Use plain chocolate spread, if you prefer, and decorate them any way you want to, adding freeze-dried raspberries or crumbled chocolate.
