Hairy Bikers star Si King has been seen in public for the first time following the death of Dave Myers. The TV chef was spotted spending some downtime with colleague and friend Nicole Kavanagh-Stubbs.

57-year-old Si announced earlier this year that Dave had died at the age of 66 - just two years after being diagnosed with cancer. In the wake of the star’s death, he took to social media and wrote: “Last night, on 28th February 2024, with Lili, Dave’s wife, his family, close friend David and myself by his side, he passed away peacefully at home.

“All who knew Dave are devastated at his passing. His beloved wife brought him such happiness as did her children, Iza and Sergiu who Dave loved like his own. Personally, I am not sure I can put into words on how I feel at the moment.”

He added that his “best friend” was now on a journey that he “can’t follow” and that he would miss the “bond and friendship” they shared over half a lifetime. Two months on from Dave’s death, Si has been spotted on the streets of the capital.

In one picture, he was snapped inside a London cafe while enjoying some tea with Nicole. He later posed for a selfie outside of the establishment with a keen fan.

In another image, a denim-clad Si was photographed on the street holding a large leather rucksack and a smaller cross-body bag.

The television presenter was also caught wheeling a trolley through a busy train station, accompanied again by Nicole.

The father-of-three’s first public appearance comes just weeks after Hairy Bikers fans completed a memorial ride in Dave’s honour

On Sunday, April 7, thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts flocked to Yorkshire to pay tribute to the late star and raise crucial funds for cancer research.

The ride began in Beverly before heading through Scagglethorpe, Pickering and Scarbrough.

Ahead of the event, Si took to social media to pen a heartfelt statement of thanks.

Message from Si King following Ride-out tribute to Dave Myers

Posting on both X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram, Si wrote: “A message from Si King to all the riders taking part in today’s Memorial Ride Out for Dave Myers.

“I hope the ride out goes well for you all. Many many thanks for remembering Dave in this way.

“He would have loved it. Dave’s family, friends and I are really touched. Love to you all, be safe. Si King x”

Si and Dave’s new cookbook, The Hairy Dieters’ Fast & Fresh hit shelves earlier this week.

The new recipe collection was a labour of love for the pair and Si claimed he and Dave were “incredibly proud” of the project.
