Bridgerton enthusiasts are thrilled as the return of the popular romance series came back to Netflix for its third instalment.
The new series will centre on Derry Girls actress Nicola Coughlan's character, Penelope Featherington, as she manoeuvres her way through London's elite society.
In the new season, Penelope finally relinquishes her long-held affection for Colin Bridgerton (portrayed by Luke Newton) following his disparaging remarks about her in the last season. However, she is adamant it's time to seek a husband, preferably one who will grant her sufficient liberty to uphold her clandestine identity as Lady Whistledown.
Meanwhile, Colin returns from his summer sojourn with a renewed appearance and mindset, only to be disheartened when he discerns that Penelope is evading him. Eager to repair their friendship, Colin proposes to assist Penelope in building confidence to aid her in securing a husband.

The series has also sparked a limited prequel spin-off featuring Queen Charlotte and collaborations with makeup brands such as Pat McGrath Labs and Kiko, according to the Mirror, reports MyLondon.
