In the main event, Conor McGregor was stopped in the second round by Dustin Poirier. The Irishman was in action for the first time in 12 months after his 40-second victory over Donald Cerrone at UFC 246. McGregor controlled the centre of the octagon against Poirier but couldn't find the decisive blow.
Poirier was effective with his kicks before landing a hard right hand on McGregor and winning the fight with a flurry of shots.
He said in the octagon afterwards: "I'm happy but I'm not surprised, I put in the work.
"Conor took this result very professionally and nothing but respect. We're 1-1, maybe we have to do it again."
Earlier, Michael Chandler's UFC debut ended with a sensational first-round stoppage of Dan Hooker.
