The stats that prove that Serena Williams would BEAT Federer, Nadal and Djokovic
SERENA WILLIAMS would beat Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic if she played any of them in a competitive match.
That’s according to new information from Big Data Tennis, who have an 80 per cent or higher accuracy rate when predicting tennis matches.
The company claim that Williams would beat all but one of the current men’s top ten.
Big Data Tennis have 79.81 per cent confidence in Williams beating Nadal, with 62.51 per cent confidence in the American earning victory over Roger Federer.
They are also confident Williams would see off Novak Djokovic with a 73.72 per cent likelihood of that happening.
The only man that Big Data Tennis predict Williams would lose to is Kei Nishikori.
But even then it’s tight with the confidence in the Japanese star just over half at 50.66 per cent.
Federer and Williams did face each other earlier this year in a mixed doubles encounter at the Hopman Cup.
Federer, partnered by Belinda Bencic, beat Williams and Frances Tiafoe 4-2, 4-3 in the competition.
And 20-time Grand Slam winner Federer admitted he struggled against the serve of Williams.
"I was nervous returning because it's a wonderful serve and you just can't read it," said Federer.
"It was great fun and she is a great champion.
“You can see how focused she is and that's what I love about her."
