I can Trump the lot
JUDD TRUMP believes he has the best chance for a generation to dominate snooker in the same way as both Steve Davis and Stephen Hendry.
Trump, 22, the new world No5, won the williamhill.com UK Championship on Sunday night with a thrilling 10-8 victory over Mark Allen at York’s Barbican centre.
And with only Masters champion Ding Junhui, 24, and Allen in the same age bracket, Trump sees a huge chance opening up.
Left-hander Trump also beat Dominic Dale, former idol Ronnie O’Sullivan, Scot Stephen Maguire and Australian Neil Robertson to win THE £100,000 prize.
He said: “There are not loads of players my age who are seriously knocking on the door and ready to win titles, so this is a massive opportunity for me. I just have to keep it going.”
