The Last Dance has been a slam dunk with fans in the absence of real basketball. With the NBA season on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, the new documentary has provided viewers with a fascinating insight into the glory days of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s.
"The Last Dance is a sensational documentary," one fan wrote on Twitter.

The Last Dance premiered on April 19 in the United States, with two episodes being released every week.
NBC News reports an average US audience of 5.8 million for each of the first six instalments.
The series is now eight episodes in, meaning it will come to a conclusion this weekend.

Originally scheduled for release in the summer, The Last Dance was brought forward due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Episodes 9 and 10 of the series will air on Sunday, May 17, in the US from 9pm ET.
Viewers in the UK will have to wait until 8.01am BST the following day to see the final two episode due to broadcasting rights.
How to watch The Last Dance
Fans in the US can watch Sunday's episodes on ESPN, with streaming available via the ESPN app.
Netflix hold the international rights to the series, meaning UK viewers will be able to watch the final episodes from 8.01am on Monday, May 18.
