Sky Sports have confirmed that Jamie Carragher will not appear on their shows for the rest of the season – including Monday Night Football.
The 40-year-old star has been disciplined after footage emerged of him spitting towards a Manchester United supporter's car last Saturday after their win over Liverpool.
Talk will now turn to potential replacements for Carragher until his expected return in time for the 2018/19 season.
