GARY NEVILLE has questioned Jose Mourinho's defensive tactics at Manchester United and said they are not acceptable.

Mourinho has almost played a back six against the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal in recent weeks.
Neville doesn't think that tactic is acceptable but expects it to change when he makes further improvements to his squad.
"I would say at the moment the back six, I don't know why they are so deep those wide players," he said on Sky Sports.

"Is it acceptable as a tactic at Manchester United? No.
"However, at Chelsea when he had a superior team, and I expect in 12 months time if we are still sat here, I would expect Manchester United's midfield to be there (further up) in big games, I wouldn't expect them to be there (deep).
"It's 15 yards further forward in the wide players."
