WES BROWN wants Manchester United to take advantage of rivals teams “slacking” and secure a top-four finish this season.

They are just four points off second-place Manchester City and to away from Arsenal, in fourth.

And former Red Devils defender Brown expects Jose Mourinho’s men to leapfrog their rivals soon.
“As the season’s gone on they’ve got a lot better and are a hard team to beat now,” Brown told talKSPORT.

“(Mourinho’s) got them into contention for the Champions League from where they were a couple of months ago.
“They have to take that step with other teams slacking a bit.
“I think they will be fine in the latter stages of the league.”
