The Gunners now find themselves 12 points adrift of the Blues with 14 games to go.

And Arsene Wenger seemed to admit defeat in the race for the title following the loss.
Asked if his side are still in the title race, Wenger said: "It is not the ideal subject after a game like that."

Wenger went on to heap praise on Antonio Conte's side and insists they have what it takes to win the title.
"Chelsea are in a very strong position. They look solid, difficult to beat and we needed to be better today," Wenger added.
"They don't lose against the big teams and that is always the secret to win a championship."
