While Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino complained that Reds debutant Trent Alexander-Arnold should have been sent off for a full-blooded challenge on Ben Davies, Klopp focused on Sturridge’s brace in Liverpool's 2-1 win, saying: “He is a finisher.”
Sturridge has found himself shunted down the pecking order at Liverpool this season, but took the chance to offer a reminder of his talent with goals in each half.

“That is his strength,” said Klopp, who made 11 changes to the team that beat West Brom on Saturday.
“He is a finisher, a really good striker and I was never in doubt about him even when he didn’t score.
“Daniel scored wonderful goals for us and they were really important."

Mauricio Pochettino couldn't understand what Jurgen Klopp was moaning about
“Alexander-Arnold should have been sent off for the big tackle on Ben Davies,” said Pochettino.
“It was a bit strange at the end of the game when their whole bench started to complain about us, about some normal fouls. Maybe they were a bit lucky not to finish with 10 men.”
