Confirmed: Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel reacts to signing new contract
LEICESTER have locked goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel down to a new long-term contract.
Kasper Schmeichel has signed a new five-year contract at Leicester
Schmeichel had attracted interest from a number of clubs this summer after helping the Foxes win the Premier League last season.
But the Denmark international has penned a five-year deal that will keep him at he club until 2021.
"I'm just buzzing and I can't wait for the season to get started,” Schmeichel said.

It was feared Leicester would lose their star players at the end of last season but so far the club have succeeded in largely keeping their league-winning squad in tact.
Jamie Vardy rejected a move to Arsenal in June and the club are confident Riyad Mahrez will stay.
