Ben Yedder, 25, this week signed for Sevilla from Toulouse on a five-year deal.
Pascal Dupraz, the manager of his former club, confirmed that Arsenal had offered Ben Yedder a rival deal.
But the player insists Sevilla was his best option after a space opened up in their squad following Kevin Gameiro's transfer to Atletico Madrid.
