Arsenal reportedly want to complete a double swoop on Leicester by signing Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy this summer.
Vardy, 29, is the subject of a £20million bid and is said to be considering Arsenal's contract offer.
The England striker has been offered a four-year deal worth in excess of £100,000 a week.
He only signed an improved £60,000-a-week deal with Leicester back in February that included the £20m release clause.
As for Leicester, they will reportedly look to immediately enter the transfer market if Vardy agrees to join Arsenal.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the Foxes have earmarked Watford's Troy Deeney as a like-for-like replacement for Vardy.
Deeney, 27, could cost as little as £15m - a steal for Leicester as they prepare to play Champions League football next season.
Tottenham are also supposedly interested in Deeney, who scored 13 goals to help Watford survive their first season back in the top flight.
Jamie Vardy: Five things you need to know
There will be a big announcement on the 7th
Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be announced as Manchester United's latest arrival tomorrow.
That is according to the Daily Mirror, who claim the Sweden international is close to being confirmed as manager Jose Mourinho's first signing at Old Trafford.
Ibrahimovic is a free agent this summer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
"There will be a big announcement on the 7th. It will be this summer's big bomb," the 34-year-old told Swedish television.
However, the Sun claim Ibrahimovic may delay a deal until his contract has officially expired in Paris on 1 July.
According to the report, Ibrahimovic will forgo a £3.9m loyalty bonus if he quits the club before that expiry date.
Elsewhere, Everton will hold talks with Ronald Koeman if Southampton give their manager permission to leave today.
Saints are considering their options as Koeman edges closer to the St Mary's exit door.
Managerless Everton are keen to secure a new boss before heading into the summer transfer window, with new owner Farhad Moshiri keen to invest in the playing squad.
Express Sport understands Everton would have to pay Saints £4m in compensation after talks between the two clubs stretched over the weekend.
The Dutchman will be offered a £6m-a-year contract at Goodison Park and will have more than £100m to spend on new players.
Southampton could in turn move for Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe.
