The teenager made a spectacular start to the season with a Man of the Match display in the Hammers’ opening day win at Arsenal.
Oxford, who can play at centre-back or as a defensive midfielder, is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in the English game.
The Hammers want to tie down the youngster, and have offered him a new three-year deal.
But he has been linked with a £10million move away from the east London club this summer.

Manchester City and Arsenal have both been linked with moves for the teenager, while Manchester United have scouted Oxford ahead of a potential move.
And now the Daily Mirror claim Liverpool have joined the race for the to sign the 17-year-old.
The report claims Oxford’s versatility is a big plus for Reds boss Jurgen Klopp as he looks to strengthen his squad.
