Jeffrey Schlupp admits he could never turn down a move to Manchester United
Leicester winger Jeffrey Schlupp, a former United trialist, has admitted he would find it hard to turn down a move to Old Trafford after failing to secure a permanent deal in 2013.
He said: "To me, it was an opportunity, I went there, saw how it worked and came back here a better player. I did meet Sir Alex a couple of times actually.
“He was really nice to me and just told me, obviously, I'm here because I'm a good player, just to enjoy it and then who knows what will happen.
"I don't think I could ever turn down a move to Manchester United but I didn't get the opportunity at the time. However, it has moulded me into the player I am.”
That is according to French publication L'Equipe, who claim the Reds have entered talks with Monaco about a potential summer move for the French midfielder.

Manchester United and Barcelona want Atletico Madrid's Saul Niguez
And finally, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague claims United and Barcelona are interested in signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, who could be snapped up for £35m.
Balague tweeted: "Saul has a buy-out clause of €45m (£35m). There is a clause since the David Villa transfer to Barcelona, a clause that says Barcelona can equal any offer and can take him.
"Barcelona are interested, and so are Manchester United. The last renewal offer from the club has been rejected by Saul, but the club will continue to negotiate."
