Chelsea rocked as Arsenal scout one of Antonio Conte's top targets
ARSENAL are considering a move for Kostas Manolas, according to reports.
Arsenal are said to be considering beating Chelsea to Manolas
Express Sport understands Manolas was one of the names Antonio Conte mentioned when he was appointed to take over at Chelsea this summer.
Conte is understood to have told the Chelsea board to launch a £52million bid to land Radja Nainggolan and his Roma team-mate Manolas.
With John Terry out of contract at the end of the season and Kurt Zouma still recovering from a serious knee injury, the centre of defence is though to be a top priority for Conte.
Manolas is reportedly at the top of a shortlist but Chelsea's interest may drive the price up and see the Gunners priced out of the market.
Arsenal are reportedly yet to decide on their transfer budget for next season with it dependent on their qualification for the Champions League.
