Club stumped as Everton star demands huge four-year contract
TIM HOWARD will demand a staggering £14million contract to leave Everton for the MLS this summer, according to reports.
Tim Howard is expected to leave Everton at the end of the season
The goalkeeper, 36, is expected to leave Goodison Park at the end of the season and return to the USA.
He has been in talks with Colorado Rapids over a proposed switch.
Colorado are said to have baulked at the request, which would see Howard earn £14million over the contract's four-year duration.
His current deal at Everton is set to run until 2018 and the Toffees could request a fee for the player if Colorado were to terminate the deal early.
