Jorge Sampaoli has been linked with taking over at Chelsea at the end of the season
Chelsea are on the lookout for a new boss to take the reins at the end of the season when Guus Hiddink is expected to end his stint as interim manager.
And Sampaoli has been sounded out as a potential suitor for the Blues.
When asked if he was staying on as coach of the national team, Sampaoli told Fox Sports: "The truth is that today everything is pointing towards a no.
"I'm not in a position now to stay in place where I don't feel as respected as I was before.

Guus Hiddink is currently serving as interim boss following Jose Mourinho's sacking last month
"I could quit now but I don't want to sneak out the back door… I hope this gets resolved in the coming hours."
The Chile boss is said to be unhappy with treatment from the media over his current position and recently voiced a negative opinion on ANFP president Arturo Salah, claiming he was being held against his will to see out his current contract.
“In this environment I don't want to work, or even live, in the country anymore," Sampaoili added.

“I thought Salah understood and would let me leave. I was surprised at his decision to hold me hostage against my will.
"I am frankly disappointed and in these conditions I cannot continue coaching when my mind is elsewhere."
Sampaoli’s contract expires after the 2018 World Cup and Salah expects him to see it out.
Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone are also said to be on Chelsea’s managerial radar.
