Everton plot swoop for Leeds United's Sam Byram as Manchester United eye Seamus Coleman
EVERTON are monitoring Leeds United youngster Sam Byram as they look to ward off interest from Manchester United in Seamus Coleman.
Sam Byram is wanted by a host of Premier League clubs
Byram, 21, is also being considered by north-east duo Sunderland and Newcastle United after impressing for the Championship side.
Everton insist that neither Coleman, nor John Stones, are for sale this summer and manager Roberto Martinez wants to keep his squad together. Chelsea have been looking at Stones.
Yet United are considering a move for Coleman, 26, and that in turn has left Everton prudently weighing up alternatives in case they receive a bid that is too good to refuse.
