Barcelona director identifies FIVE targets to blow Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea away

BARCELONA have drawn up a list of five major transfer targets that could seriously hamper English teams' summer plans.

International sporting director Ariedo Braida has returned from a European scouting trip and handed over a dossier to club bosses - claim Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

On the list is Juventus ace Paul Pogba, who is wanted by a host of major clubs including Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.

Juventus are understood to demand a world-record fee for Pogba, 22, and will likely field bids from across Europe this summer.

But with Barca's transfer embargo prohibiting switches until 2016, the France international is unlikely to head to the Nou Camp.

While Barca can complete transfers before the ban is lifted, players they sign must either not play until then or stay on at their current clubs.

That situation is likely to work for Monaco's 21-year-old right-back Fabinho, who is on loan from Rio Ave.

Fabinho is reportedly considered a solid replacement for current full-back Dani Alves, who could be heading to Manchester United on a free transfer this summer.

It is also claimed Braida examined the possibility of signing Arsenal and Liverpool target Marco Reus form Borussia Dortmund. However, he has hit a barrier on this front.

For Reus recently signed a new contract at the Bundesliga club and appears unlikely to leave this summer.

Furthermore, Real Madrid have shown major interest in the midfielder and are thought to be frontrunners to his signature if the Germany international decides to quit Dortmund.

As for the remaining two players, the newspaper claim Barcelona want to replace striker Pedro with either Villarreal front man Luciano Vietto or Palermo's Paulo Dybala.

Liverpool were linked with a move for Vietto earlier this month but face competition from Real Madrid for the 21-year-old, while a host of clubs - including United, Chelsea and Inter - are locked in a battle for Dybala.
