The Germany international joined the Serie A outfit in January, and scored his first goal for the club in yesterday's 2-1 win over Udinese.

Podolski struggled to make an impression under Arsene Wenger in the first-half of the campaign, taking to the field just seven times in the Premier League.

However, Mancini insists that the former Bayern Munich attacker will be back at the Emirates once his loan deal expires, saying: "I'm pleased that Podolski broke his duck, he's scored a very important goal.
