Chelsea transfer plans REVEALED: Jose Mourinho wants FIVE new players next season
CHELSEA will look to add as many as five new players to their first-team squad over the summer, according to reports.
Mauro Icardi Player Profile
Jose Mourinho claimed last week that he was happy with his squad as they march towards the Premier League title this season.
But any thoughts of standing pat have been well and truly put to one side, according to ESPNFC.
My team, I love it, and my squad, I love it
The recent injuries to Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Didier Drogba have persuaded the Blues that at least one extra striker is required, with Mauro Icardi high on Mourinho's wish list.
But the Blues are also said to be in the market for another full-back with Filipe Luis' future at the club still up in the air.
Petr Cech's departure will also reportedly see the Blues look to bring in two players to back up Thibaut Courtois in goal.

And it is also claimed that another midfielder could be on the agenda depending on possible departures.
Speaking about a possible bid for Brazilian wonderkid Nathan last week, Mourinho said: "I'm focussed just on my team and my job and my team, I love it, and my squad, I love it and the objective we are fighting for, I love it too."
