MARIO BALOTELLI made his feelings clear on social media after he was denied a dramatic late equaliser in Liverpool's FA Cup semi-final defeat to Aston Villa yesterday.

The Reds crashed out 2-1 at Wembley but not before Balotelli had a goal ruled out for offside with only minutes remaining on the clock.

The £16million summer singing broke through on goal and slotted past Villa goalkeeper Shay Given, only to turn around and see the flag raised.

But TV replays suggest Balotelli was unlucky to have his effort ruled out.

Balotelli took to social media after the game to voice his frustration at the decision.

He posted on Instagram a freeze-frame image of when the ball was played to him, with the caption: "No words. This picture says it all. (Congratulation to Aston Villa) anyway. And guys HEAD UP we are Liverpool and YNWA especially when we lose."

Villa won the game when goals from Christian Benteke and Fabian Delph completed the comeback after Philippe Coutinho had opened the scoring for Liverpool.
