Manchester United must splash out £21million if they want to sign former Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, his agent has confirmed.

United are seeking to bolster their midfield options next season and Louis van Gaal has even admitted that position is a main priority.

And De Bruyne, 23, appears to have caught the eye of United's Dutch master after impressing for Wolfsburg this season.

De Bruyne was sold by Chelsea in January 2014 but his agent has made it clear that he is already angling for an exit from the Bundesliga.

“This could be his last season at Wolfsburg,” Patrick De Koster told Europa Calcio.

“Currently the only club we have talked to regarding his future is the German side.

"His value is higher than €30m (£21m), but you can’t take anything for granted in football."

Meanwhile, Liverpool have emerged as suitors of Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca but they won't get near another target.

For while the Reds trail 28-year-old Colombian Bacca, their mild interest in Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette is over.

"It is too early to speak about opportunities of leaving abroad. In any case, it will be a footballing decision," Lacazette told Le Progres.

"To go next season, that doesn’t interest me. I would like to sign a contract extension.

"I am good at Lyon, and if I feel that the project will continue advance, I can see myself staying. Even if we don’t win the Champions League."

As for Bacca, the Anfield club face competition from Tottenham to sign the forward, who has scored 21 goals this season.

And finally, Jose Mourinho has reportedly enquired as to Paulo Dybala's availability.

Palermo forward Dybala is valued at £29m and his club president has already confirmed they are open to bids this summer.

The Argentine has scored 13 goals this season and it is claimed his intermediary, Gustavo Mascardi, has been discussing offers Chelsea manager Mourinho.

"Juventus are the favourites. We're also listening to proposals from Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico [Madrid], Arsenal and Chelsea. In Italy, there's also Roma and Inter, in addition to Juve. Dybala will calmly decide, along with Zamparini," Mascardi told Tuttosport.
