Per Mertesacker says Arsenal know what is required against Reading
Mertesacker claims that the Cup is the best he’s ever played in because of the regular giant killing shocks.
But after needing penalties to get past Wigan at the same stage of the competition last season, he says the Gunners know what they need to do this time around.
He said: "It's going to be their biggest game of the season so to mentally prepare, it's going to be difficult for us.
"To match their physicality and strength, to do more and be on the ball from the start will be difficult.

"We need to show them respect but show no fear of the pressure.
"Our winning streak helps us a bit but this competition is completely different [from the Premier League].

"I don't want to struggle on Saturday. To repeat that [FA Cup win last year] is my real target.
"So, let's make sure that we are on the same level and do more than out opponents."
