The Bundesliga champions are without five players for the clash in Portugal as David Alaba, Medhi Benatia, Javi Martinez, Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben all miss out through injury.

Xabi Alonso starts in midfield for Pep Guardialo's men after playing in defence during their previous outing.

And Mario Gotze is set to lead the line alongside Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski.

As for Porto, Jackson Martinez has passed a late fitness test and replaces Vincent Aboubakar up front.

Bruno Martins Indi comes into the defence in the only other change from their clash with Rio Ave last Saturday.

Porto: Fabiano, Danilo, Martins Indi, Maicon, Alex Sandro, Casemiro, Brahimi, Herrera, Oliver Torres, Quaresma, Martínez.

Bayern: Neuer, Rafinha, Dante, Boateng, Bernat, Alonso, Lahm, Thiago, Gotze, Muller, Lewandowski.
