Man Utd Transfer News: £30m Sterling bid, Clyne move CONFIRMED, £150k-a-week Khedira deal

EXPRESS SPORT brings you all the latest transfer news coming from Old Trafford.

Raheem Sterling Player Profile

Manchester United - as well as Chelsea and Arsenal - have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Raheem Sterling as City line up a £30m move for Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling.

The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a summer move in recent weeks after turning down a reported £100,000-a-week deal at Anfield.

However, the Reds remain confident over the future of the England international, who has over two years remaining on his current deal.

Daily Mirror journalist David McDonnell has all but confirmed the Red Devils' acquisition of Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne.

He said yesterday: "From what I'm told, it's a done deal."

The 24-year-old would join former Saints left-back Luke Shaw, who joined the ranks at Old Trafford last summer for around £30m.

The German World Cup winner is out of contract in the summer and is unlikely to enter negotiations over a new deal.

The 28-year-old's agent, Jorg Neubauer, has reportedly opened preliminary talks with a host of interested clubs in recent weeks.
