Stan Collymore has urged Raheem Sterling to ditch his scumbag mates
The former Premier League striker has labelled his mates 'scumbags' on twitter, warning him to leave them behind for the sake of his career, after the video got into the hands of the press.
He said: "Hey @sterling31, your little scumbag mates are grassing you up to The Sun. May want to look seriously at your friendships kid.
"My concern is a kid having hangers-on willing to sell him out for 500 quid. Complete w*****s. Get rid @sterling31."
The footage leaked just days after a Snapchat image, allegedly showing Sterling smoking a shisha pipe, was circulated.

And the incidents have now forced Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers to step in and have words with the 20-year-old about his conduct.
Rodgers said after the Newcastle game: "For me it is something that when you are professional sportsperson at the top level of the game, I don't think it is something you should be doing.
"As I have said before, young players make mistakes. As long as they learn from them, that is what is important. I will speak to Raheem. Until then, it is something we will deal with internally."
