Ex-Chelsea boss APPROVES £60m Pogba price-tag (but warns Man Utd and Liverpool off Cavani)

GIANLUCA VIALLI says £60million is not too much to pay for Paul Pogba but has warned Edinson Cavani might not thrive in the Premier League.

Paul Pogba Player Profile

The former Chelsea player and manager compared Pogba's possible departure to that of Zinedine Zidane in 2001, stressing that Juve could improve as a team by letting a single player go.

But he feels that £60m is a reasonable price for a player who has attracted interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.

I'd sell him if he does not want to stay in Turin.

Gianluca Vialli

He told Calciomercato: "€100 million (£60m) for Pogba does not seem to be an outrageous estimate since all the big European clubs want him.

"If I was at Juventus, I'd sell him if he does not want to stay in Turin.

"With the sale of Zidane, Juventus werre able to invest in the transfer market and build a more complete team: it may be same thing if the French player leaves."

Vialli also thinks PSG striker Cavani would represent a major coup for Juve, but hinted that he may struggle in the wrong environment.

He added: "Cavani really appeals to me, he is one of my favorite attackers.

"But every player must be placed in context: I think he would be great for Juventus. "
