Man Utd's Luke Shaw REVEALS why he always relishes facing Chelsea

LUKE SHAW has revealed that Chelsea is always one of the first games he looks out for when the Premier League fixtures are released.

The 19-year-old was an avid Blues fan when growing up.

Shaw, who signed for Manchester United in a £30million deal last summer, has struggled for form and fitness in his debut season at Old Trafford.

United travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday (5:30pm) knowing a win will put them in touching distance of qualifying for the Champions League next term.

And Shaw claims the Bridge is his favourite away ground in the top flight.

"I used to watch Chelsea every week," Shaw told Match of the Day magazine.

"It was really good when I got to play at Stamford Bridge, I would say that’s my favourite away stadium to go to – Chelsea is one of the first games I look for when the new fixtures come out.”

Shaw also thinks he has serious room for improvement at United.

He added: "It’s been a frustrating one because of the injuries I’ve picked up but I’m loving it!

"If I was to write a school report on my first season here I’d give myself a C-.You don’t realise just how big Man United is until you’re actually here – it’s frightening! It is the biggest club around.”
