MANCHESTER UNITED striker Javier Hernandez wants to remain in the Premier League if he leaves the club this summer.

That is the opinion of Guillem Balague, who adds that the Mexican has numerous offers from other English sides.

Hernandez is currently out on loan at Real Madrid but has failed to break past Karim Benzema into Carlo Ancelotti's starting XI.

The forward was allowed to depart Old Trafford last summer following the arrival of Monaco's Radamel Falcao, and is expected to leave permanently at the end of the season.

And speaking to Revista de La Liga, Balague claimed that Hernandez wants to remain in England despite being wanted by a number of MLS outfits, explaining that there are a number of bids on the table from Premier League clubs.

He quite clearly wants to stay in the Premier League, and he wants to play regularly which he hasn't been able to

He said: "[Hernandez] talks about frustration, and the frustration is not just about this year.

"It is about two bad years, where he hasn't been given the chances and has obviously lost his place in the line-up with Mexico as well.

"Now it is a matter of what he does next. He's got offers from the MLS, offers from the Premier League, he's got a good press in England.

"He quite clearly wants to stay in the Premier League, and he wants to play regularly which he hasn't been able to."
