Cazorla, 30, insists he will one day quit Premier League side Arsenal and return to Spain to represent Real Oviedo.

The midfielder spent nine years as a youth player at Oviedo before being handed a professional contract with Villarreal in 2003.

And Cazorla revealed in a candid interview that he would like to run out in the blue jersey of his former club, which also produced the likes of Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata, Napoli goalscorer Michu and Adrian of Porto.

"It is the club of my home and I will be a supporter all my life,” Cazorla told AS.

"It is the club where I grew up from nine to 18.

“I spent my career there, I learned a lot as a player and hopefully I can wear that shirt.
