Le10Sport exclusively claims that Garry Monk's side are ready to pay the Ghana international €300,000 per-month in order to boost their chances of competing for a European spot next season.

Ayew will become a free agent this summer when his contract expires, and is said to be wanted by Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Newcastle and Everton have also been linked with the 25-year-old in recent times, but Le10Sport adds that Swansea have now emerged as shock frontrunners for his signature.

Ayew joined Marseille in 2007, and has gone on to score 57 goals in 202 appearances for the Ligue 1 giants.
