Man Utd set to hand Ashley Young new THREE-year deal after Man City heroics

Young turned in a Man of the Match performance against Manchester City yesterday, helping to secure a come-from-behind victory.

And it is now suggested that the former Aston Villa star will be handed a lucrative new deal after emerging as a mainstay under Louis van Gaal this term.

Young will turn 30 in July but, according to Goal, will be offered a the chance to stay at Old Trafford until he turns 33.

The winger will reportedly be offered a deal that will see him take a slight pay-cut on his current £120,000-a-week but with the potential to make up the difference in incentives.

Young revealed yesterday that he has been revitalised by Van Gaal's faith in him, saying: "I've just listened to what the manager has said.
