Jose Mourinho's 10-year plan for a Chelsea dynasty

JOSE MOURINHO has revealed a 10-year plan to make Chelsea the greatest team on the planet.

QPR v Chelsea - Premier League Preview

As he prepares to take a step towards his third Premier League title at QPR this afternoon, Chelsea boss Mourinho unveiled a blueprint for the future drawn up with owner Roman Abramovich.

The Russian billionaire, who celebrates his 700th game at the Chelsea helm today, now has his sights set on world football domination - and Mourinho hopes to be with him all the way.

The Stamford Bridge manager said: "We are building a team for a long time, for the next 10 years. That is the objective. More important than my team is Chelsea's future."

Then he hailed Abramovich as the man for all seasons.

"He is good for Chelsea, good for English football, good for European football. Chelsea because of him have become a strength, a top club in the country and a top club in Europe," he continued.

And in a thinly-disguised dig at his Manchester City rivals, he added: "I think it's important the message Mr Abramovich and this club are passing now.

"The decision to accept the rules and play under the rules I think is a big decision compared with other clubs and other owners that didn't accept the rules and didn't want to play under the rules."

Whatever happens this season, though, Mourinho and his team will always plough a lone furrow.

He genuinely believes that the secret of their success is to shut out all thoughts of hat anyone else is doing.

"We don't want to be influenced by anything," he insists. "We just think about ourselves. I know we have a game on Sunday. We know the opponent.

"We know the players. We know the stadium. We know everything. We know it will be difficult, but we just focus on that.

"When the QPR match finishes, then we think about what next. I like this situation about being isolated of everything. It's just us."

Be that as it may, a resurgent QPR will give the champions elect a run for their money today. Brazilian midfielder, Sandro, will vouch for that.

He said: "It's going to be a difficult game, but we are still alive. Everyone is fighting and it's not easy to play against us now.

"If we continue to play like this we are in a good position to stay up."

This is Sandro's first ever relegation battle - and he's relishing it.

"It's exciting," he admits. "I can see the real QPR now. The real fight is on the pitch and I will show you what I mean.

"I just want to talk about QPR staying up. Everyone feels we can do this together."
