Man Utd request Paul Pogba meeting as they prepare £54m plus Robin van Persie bid

MANCHESTER UNITED have requested a meeting with Juventus over the potential transfer of Paul Pogba for £54million plus Robin van Persie, according to reports.

Paul Pogba Player Profile

Tuttomercatoweb claims that the Italian giants have decided to sell their star midfielder this summer in order to strengthen other parts of Massimo Allegri's squad.

It is believed that there is only one concrete offer on the table for Pogba, which has come from current Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are said to have told Juventus of their interest in the 22-year-old, whilst United have apparently asked to meet face-to-face with club representatives in Turin.

Pogba left Old Trafford on a free transfer in 2012 after a falling out with Sir Alex Ferguson, and Louis van Gaal is reportedly ready to offer £54m plus £18m-rated Van Persie in order to bring the playmaker back to the Premier League.
