Chelsea won't be doing QPR any favours ahead of Arsenal and Man Utd clashes - Mourinho

JOSE MOURINHO has denied that Sunday’s London derby will mean more to QPR than Chelsea.

QPR are embroiled in a relegation scrap - currently sitting in 18th place with six games to play.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are seven points clear at the top of the Premier League and have a game in hand over their closest rivals.

And while Chelsea can probably afford to drop points at some point and still come out champions, Mourinho insists the game against Chris Ramsey’s side is just as important as any other, particularly with clashes against Arsenal and Manchester United to follow.

Mourinho said: “We have to win every game. We have to win the next game.

“And we don’t think about the points we have or the match we have in hand we just think about the next match.

“I know QPR have played one match more than the teams they are competing with and everybody knows they need points in the remaining six games they have.

“So we know it is a difficult game for us.”

But Mourinho did concede that a failure to take all three points on Sunday would not be the end of the world.

Talking about what Chelsea need to take the title he added: “To win five or win four and draw two. Just a little bit better than after the game against Stoke.

“Any points we do against QPR, our situation improves but we needs points.”
